Usage guide: Webmail

You can access your e-mail on the Web (Webmail) from any computer that is connected to the Internet.

Auromail.net provides you fast Webmail access without any advertisements at:

http://auromailnet.mail.everyone.net

or at these three addresses (which just redirect to the one above):

www.auromail.net
www.auromail.com
www.auromail.org

You can also login from most of the info.auromail.net pages (including this one) by using the login box on the top left corner of the page.

Type in your user name and password into the login box (User name and Password).Click Login. You will be logged into your account.

There are two views you can use: Rich web mail and Classic web mail. Rich web mail allows you to drag and drop messages to move or delete them and is very intuitve to use. Classic web mail, on the other hand, is the simpler older interface; you may want to use it when your connection to the Internet is slow. You can switch at anytime from one view to the other by clicking Rich web mail (on the left) or Classic on top right of the screen.

If you are an extremely heavy user (you receive large and many messages), you may have to manually empty your mailboxes occasionally. Remember, you have a total of 10-GB for storage in all your mailboxes.

You can also change your account’s setting using the Webmail interface: changing your password, mail-handling settings such as autoresponder, autoforwarder, etc.

An added benefit of using Webmail to send mail is that any attachment sent is automatically scanned for viruses. This is not the case when mail is sent using the SMTP server. See also virus scanning.
