The standard Auromail.net service includes automatic virus scanning.
Incoming mail is scanned for viruses by the Everyone.net system using the Sophos anti-virus system, one of the best in the world.
Everyone.net updates virus definitions automatically at least every hour (without any system interruption) to protect against the latest virus threats. However, as a measure of abundant caution, you should always use up-to-date virus-scanning software on your computer.
Outgoing mail is also scanned for viruses by the Everyone.net system when you use the Webmail interface to send mail. Outgoing mail is not scanned for viruses when you send mail using the Auromail.net SMTP server (smtp.everyone.net).
